Though this is not possible for everyone because of the higher salary of the private tutors. For those who do not like to learn on a group it is the best option. There are many people who is not comfortable in working on a group. For them a private tutor will work as a charm. The third option for learning piano playing is practicing at home through online tutorials. This is the cheapest method as there are thousands of tutorials available online these days.

Though I would not suggest this for the beginners. For the basics school or private tutor is the best way of learning. If you have the basics then you can leave the rest and rely on online tutorials.
